Church School

We are delighted to have four church school hours available for children.  Nursery care is available for infants and toddler during all worship services.

Curriculum: "Heroes of the Bible"

Children age3 through 5th grade use Faith Weaver Bible Curriculum.  All ages study the same Bible passages with age appropriate lessons and activities.  Children experience God’s word in fresh, fun ways and discover how to apply what they learn to their everyday lives.

This summer children will be learning about different heroes from the Bible, like Daniel, Esther, and Paul. Each lesson will focus on the Bible story, game, activities, and crafts.

Lake Brandt Campus

Sundays @ 9:30 a.m. Children age Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to attend a portion of worship with their families. Following the Children's Message during the service, the children will leave the Sanctuary and be led to their appropriate-age classrooms. Nursery and preschool care provided during the entire service. 

Friendly Avenue Campus

Saturday @ 6 p.m.

Nursery care provided during worship for children 0-4 years old.  Following the Children’s Message in worship, children Kindergarten – 5th grade are led to Room 106 for Children’s Worship. 

Sunday @ 9:30 a.m.

Nursery care provided during worship for children 0-Young 2’s in rooms 110, 111, 113.

Children's Worship

Have your child experience worship while engaged in a child-centric service.  Westminster offers two Children’s Worship services: Saturday night (K-5th) and Sunday (K-3rd) at 11 a.m. at the Friendly Avenue campus.  Children sing praise music and have a Bible lesson that may include a film clip, science experiment, craft project or drama to illustrate the Bible message. Children’s worship is held in Room 106.

4th & 5th graders can attend a Bible study at 11 a.m. instead of going to Children’s Worship.  Winter/Spring 2010 is a study of “Old Testament Top Ten” – Room 100.

Outrageous Outreach

Outrageous Outreach is a monthly service opportunity for 4th & 5th graders.  Contact Sue McConnell at 299-3785, ext. 135 for details.
