Confirmation
Discovering your own faith
in 2009-2010
Confirmation is an exciting time in our youth's lives. The Confirmation class helps young people understand not only what faith is about, but helps to begin to discover their own faith.
Classes are for 8th graders who want to explore their personal faith journey. Classes start in August and end in May with a confirmation ceremony during worship followed by a reception.
Our 2009-2010 Confirmation Class starts August 30 with a kickoff meeting in the Friendly Avenue Sanctuary at 4 p.m. Confirmation is open to all rising 8th graders and the youth and/or their families do not have to be members of Westminster to participate. Confirmation will consist of weekly Sunday morning classes that meet throughout the school year.

Confirmation Class Sunday Schedule
9:30 a.m. - Attend contemporary worship service in the Sanctuary (Confirms can sit together in the pews on the far left side of the Sanctuary or they can sit with their families.)
10:30 - 11 a.m. - Fellowship in Youth House
11 a.m. - Noon - Confirmation class in Youth House
