Sunday Night Fellowship

Sunday Night Fellowship is where youth deepen their faith on Sunday evenings.  This is a relaxing and fun time for deeper growth and connection with God and with each other.   The program includes:  

• Fellowship:    We will be an opportunity for youth to gather together and enjoy a time of play with one another.
• Bible Study:  We will take the study of God’s Word in many unique forms and facets that appeal to our youth today. Whether we explore Faith through Film or journey a Prayer Path together, we seek to challenge youth to understand God’s Word in new and reflective ways for their life and their faith.
• Mission:     We will seek to encourage our youth to give back to the community of Greensboro through their time and their talents. We will challenge youth to see and understand the needs of the community in which they live, and to seek what God would have them to join in and do.
• Worship:  We will join our hearts, minds, and voices to worship God as a united community. These evenings will generally take on our Open Door services, which are the youth led worship services where we offer ourselves to God in prayer and thanksgiving with one another.

New in 2010 - Table Groups

Beginning in January 2010, Westminster Youth Ministry offered Table Groups as an opportunity to gather in smaller groups of youth in grades 6th through 12th to eat together, pray together, and read the Bible together.  Middle school and high school youth will meet separately.  Families will host a Table Group in their home.  The idea is to have two adults and six youth at the table at each home. Contact Lucy Jefferies or Marti Hazelrigg for more information or to sign up.

Wed., June 16 - 8:30-10:30 pm "Movie Under the Stars" on the Talent Field behind the church - Bring a blanket or chair and snack & 2 liter drink share.

Wed., June 23  12 noon - Bible Study at the Youth House
