Eastside Park:
A Neighborhood Transforming

Eastside Park is a neighborhood in southeastern Greensboro that is home to about 100 families. Born from the resident’s initiative to build their neighborhood into a life-affirming community, in 2002 their dream of having a community center was realized. This neighborhood revitalization has become a national model for how communities who work together can change the lives of people.

Today the center offers an after-school program for the neighborhood children.  Members of Westminster participate by providing tutoring, other volunteer assistance and financial sponsorships.
