Greensboro Urban Ministry Food Collection

Serving God doesn't require going away on a trip or giving a significant amount of one's time.

Greensboro Urban Ministry asks local churches to pledge a food item to collect throughout the year to help stock the food pantry; Westminster has pledged to collect macaroni and cheese. There is a white cabinet in the Fellowship Hall at Friendly and a collection box at Lake Brandt for donations. Next time you go grocery shopping, put an extra box of macaroni and cheese in your grocery cart and deposit during your worship time over the weekend. You’ll be helping those less fortunate in our community.
