About the event
On the First Sunday in Advent, we will begin a celebration of an old Mexican custom called Las Posadas. Las Posadas means "the inns" or "the lodgings." This custom celebrates the journey of Mary and Joseph seeking shelter in Bethlehem before the birth of Jesus.
On their journey, Mary & Joseph will need lodging in your home! If you would like to host Mary & Joseph, please sign up below. This custom is a good reminder of the importance of reaching out to help refugees, immigrants, and those who are experiencing homelessness.
