KENYA MISSIONS
Maxim Grace Academy
Through generous gifts, WPC partners with Maxim Grace Academy - a Kenyan primary school - providing financial assistance for teacher salaries, materials, and scholarships for high school and university students who once attended Maxim Grace. To learn more, read a special message from Nancy Wambui, the schools executive director.
Amani Children's Foundation
Amani raises funding and awareness for New Life Homes in Kenya where staff members receive vulnerable infants under six months old at four baby homes across Kenya. They arrive from hospitals, police or social workers often in awful condition and are lovingly welcomed into homes of the highest standards. WPC supports Amani through a yearly financial gift and bead sales. To learn more about the organization.
Amani Beads Sale
Made from the clay of Mt. Kenya, Amani beads have been shaped, painted and fired by Kenya women in a fair-trade business. Most are donated to Amani Children's Foundation. Many beads are "imperfect," but members of Westminster shape them into beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry and art. The proceeds go back to care for orphaned babies at New Life Homes in Kenya.
