April Update from the PNC
- Pastor Nominating Committee

The Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) has met several times since the Congregational Meeting on March 9. We have worshiped together, spent time learning more about each other, and begun the extremely important task of developing a Ministry Discernment Profile (MDP). The MDP helps prospective pastors understand the specific vision, mission, and needs of the
congregation. It allows them to determine if their gifts and experience align with the church's needs. Over the past year, the Transition Team did an outstanding job of finding our Transitional Pastor and completing the Westminster 2025 Mission Study (attached below). Their work has enabled the PNC to begin our work in a very efficient manner.
The PNC would like to invite you to help us during the next several months. We have focused on several different scriptures to lead us in our meetings. If you would like to join us, please note that Wednesdays at 5:30 (while we are meeting) is a designated time to pray for the work we are doing and how the Lord is leading us on this journey.
The verse we are focusing on is Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Thank you for considering this invitation. We will look forward to sharing with our next pastor the dedicated prayers from our congregation while waiting for their call to Westminster.
Lenten blessings from the PNC,
Debbie Brown, Jim Gale, Daphne Haverkamp, Bev Hill, Harper Hudson, Judy Phelps, Greg Rosendale, Paul Wingate
