Youth Summer TRIPS 2024

This summer, Westminster will enrich the lives of our young people through mission trips and conferences.  These trips have a long tradition of deepening their faith and planting seeds for future service as the hands and feet of Christ.

Confidential scholarships for youth trips are available— for more information contact Sam Perkins or Lucy Jefferies. A $200 NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT will be due to hold your spot on the trip.  This non-refundable policy covers the cost of the spot booked for youth when circumstances force cancellation of attendance on the trip after the payment deadline.

Everyone belongs to God and we all have value as children of God. Thus we should all be understanding and respectful of God’s creation. We hope to create an environment that promotes independent thinking and choice-making that reflects values that are both personalized and in conversation with our tradition. We hope to give our youth the tools to discern healthy peer relationships. We hope to build up the participants’ faith and help them apply hopeful biblical lessons to their lives and the world around them.

A $200 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration (March 3rd deadline).
Deadline Extended to March 10

Westminster will be heading into the heart of The Big Apple, New York City, to learn from and serve the people that live and work there. We will be staying at Broadway Presbyterian Church, just blocks from Central Park. We will be connecting with relationship-based ministries that work to build and improve community all year-long, focusing on issues of homelessness, poverty, physical and mental challenges, a growing refugee population, and getting older.
We’ll certainly have time to have fun and see the city through tourists’ eyes, but we’ll also get a chance to learn how we can be peacemakers, joy bringers, and hope peddlers as we discover how to shine the light of Christ’s love.

A $200 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration (March 3rd deadline).
Deadline Extended to March 10
